A Beautiful Noise

As I sit in my class, I can hear the sweet sound of my 1st and 2nd graders in their choir class in the next room. They are singing “Great is Thy Faithfulness”. Hearing 20 little ones singing about how faithful God is (at the top of their lungs) is such a precious noise to my hears. I can’t wait for heaven when all we hear is praise to our Father. It is also a reminder as to how God is Faithful. Although everyday brings me to the brink of my patience, when I hear little voices praising God I remember it is worth every bit of effort. Every trial. Everything. Right now I need that reminder because last night Ronald, myself, and another teacher were in a car accident. It wasn’t the worst car accident ever, but it was very traumatizing. Edna was in the back seat closest to the impact. We all feel a bit sore today after the fact. I had such a hard day yesterday, what with forgetting my lunch, dis-obedient students, and then the crash. But listening to the kids sing is reminding me that there is much to be done. God will give us rest when we need it. He will give us the strength to push on. Thanks for praying for us and our safety! I’m sure Angels were watching over us.

Wow, that is scary! I’m glad you’re okay! My wife and I are good friends with Mai and we’re excited that you both are in Saipan carrying on the mission that has been so close to our hearts. Blessings to you both. You are in our prayers.
